Precious Lives is a Peabody-nominated podcast created about young people and gun violence — homicide, suicide, accidental death and the impact on family and community.

The stories are engaging, intimate, and illuminating — giving voice to many people not represented in mainstream media, creating sustained attention to this persistent problem and showcasing solutions many in our community don't know about.

As the Production Assistant for Precious Lives, I helped conduct interviews, edit audio and develop story ideas.

I produced episode #46: The Cost of a Single Bullet, where I tallied all expenses it cost Claudiare Motley when he was shot in the jaw during an attempted car jacking. You can find that episode here, along with all of the others.
